The High Court of Bombay ruled that the share of profits received after the death of a partner should be included in a single assessment with income prior to the death. The Tribunal held that such post-death receipts should not be assessed separately. The court referred to a previous decision and answered in favor of the assessee, stating that the sum in question was not liable to be included in the total income.
