The High Court of Oudh considered whether income from the sale of forest trees growing naturally is agricultural income exempt from income tax. The court held that such income is not agricultural income under the Income-tax Act. The court also addressed a question regarding the distance of a residential building from the land, concluding that the benefit referred to was not applicable.
