2019 (9) TMI 1703 - HC - Income TaxMaintainability of appeal - low tax effect - HELD THAT - Appellants on instructions seek to withdraw the Appeals. This for the reason that the tax effect involved in all these Appeals is less than the threshold limit of rupees one crore provided in the Central Board for Direct Taxes (CBDT) Circular No.17 of 2019 dated 8 August 2019. All these Appeals are disposed of as withdrawn.
The Bombay High Court disposed of multiple appeals as withdrawn because the tax effect involved in each appeal was less than the threshold limit of one crore rupees set by the CBDT Circular No.17 of 2019. Refund of court fees was ordered as per rules.
