The Government of India upheld the appellate order in the case of M/s. Century Spinning and Manufacturing Co. Ltd., regarding the refund of Countervailing duty on Barmag precision Gear Pumps. The pumps were found to fall outside the purview of item 30A of CET as they were not driven by an external power source. The review proceeding was dropped.
