1987 (2) TMI 67 - SC - Customs

The Supreme Court upheld the conviction of the appellants under Section 161(81) of the Sea Customs Act. The sentence of 2 years' R.I. was modified to the period already served, with a fine of Rs. 5,000 each. The appeals were partly allowed.
