1989 (6) TMI 63 - HC - Customs

The High Court of Bombay dismissed the appeal for want of prosecution in a case involving smuggling of VCRs and gold. The accused were found with contraband upon arrival in India and were sentenced to time already served in custody, which the court found to be lenient. The court noted that the accused may have fled the country.
