The Supreme Court upheld the decision to reject a claim for customs duty exemption on an imported precision jig boring machine with numerical control because it did not contain the required optical coordinate component. The court ruled that the exemption only applies to a machine with both optical coordinate and numerical control, not just numerical control alone. The appeal was dismissed with costs.
