2022 (6) TMI 1508 - HC - Indian LawsSeeking an adjournment to file reply to the amended petition - service of amended petition - HELD THAT - The amended petition was served on the respondents before 04.03.2020 and by way of last chance 4 weeks time was granted to the respondents to file their returns if they chose to. There is no explanation as to why no response was filed to the amended petition all this while. The request of respondent is granted but subject to the respondents whom she represents paying costs of 25Rs. 000/- on or before the next date. The costs can be paid to the petitioner or deposited in this Court so that the petitioner can withdraw the same. The costs will have to be paid/deposited latest by 15th July 2022. Post this matter for final disposal on 26.07.2022.
The High Court of Bombay granted an adjournment for the respondents to file a reply to the amended petition within four weeks. The court directed the respondents to pay costs of 25,000/- by 15th July, 2022, and scheduled the final disposal of the matter for 26.07.2022.
