The Patna High Court, through Hon'ble Justice Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, issued an oral order in multiple Civil Writ Jurisdiction Cases (Nos. 8169/2024, 768/2021, 18697/2024, 19786/2024). The petitioners' counsel referenced the Court's recent judgments in CWJC Nos. 17756/2024, 17758/2024, and the precedent case M/s Ashoke Das and Another v. Union of India and Others (CWJC No. 4918/2021, 2025 SCC OnLine Pat 1553), asserting these writ applications fall under those rulings. The Department of Customs' Senior Standing Counsel indicated he would seek instructions, noting counter affidavits are already on record. The Court directed all related matters to be listed on 5 May 2025 for priority consideration.
