2000 (9) TMI 117 - AT - Customs

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi set aside the order suspending a Customs House Agent license due to lack of reasons and immediate action justification as required by Regulation 21(2) of the Customs House Agents Licensing Regulations, 1984. The Tribunal referred to previous court cases supporting this view and allowed the appeal, stating that the Commissioner can still proceed with revocation/cancellation proceedings following proper procedures.
