2005 (3) TMI 352 - AT - Central Excise

The dispute was about import inputs by M/s. Good Year India Ltd. for manufacture. The Customs authorities delayed endorsing Bills of Entry, causing a six-month delay in taking credit. The Commissioner (Appeals) ruled in favor of the respondents, stating that no one can benefit from their own default. The appeal was rejected.
