1990 (10) TMI 174 - AT - Customs

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi granted a stay on the recovery of disputed dues amounting to Rs. 49,89,319.90 and penalty of Rs. 30 lakhs. The appellants were directed not to alienate their fixed assets including plant and machinery. The appeal was scheduled for an expedited hearing on November 15, 1990 as a priority matter with no adjournments permitted.
