Summary

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Bombay ordered the appellants to deposit Rs. 3,22,823 towards duty. The plant and machinery were ordered confiscation but allowed redemption on payment of Rs. 25,000 fine. The appellants had already deposited the penalty and reversed the MODVAT Credit.
