The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi upheld the availability of deemed Modvat credit to SSI units even after crossing the ceiling limit of clearances of Rs. 75 lakhs, based on previous decisions. The appeal by the Revenue was rejected. (Citation: 1998 (8) TMI 346 - CEGAT, New Delhi)
