1999 (7) TMI 163 - AT - Central Excise

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Mumbai condoned the delay in filing appeals and waived the deposit of duty of Rs. 54,000 demanded on the classification of copper sulphate as a pesticide under Heading 3808.00. The Tribunal's decision confirmed this classification, citing a previous case, and stayed the recovery of the duty.
