Summary

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi granted interim stay of recovery of duty and penalty amounts until the disposal of the stay application. A ROM application had been filed against the Final Order of the Tribunal, with a difference of opinion between the Bench members, which has been referred to a third Member for resolution. Interim protection granted in a previous order should continue until the pronouncement of the majority order in the ROM application.
