1999 (11) TMI 333 - AT - Central Excise

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Mumbai dismissed the department's appeal against the decision allowing Modvat credit to a manufacturer who received inputs before receiving the duty paying document. The appeal was deemed devoid of merits due to technical violation.
