1939 (1) TMI 9 - HC - Companies Law

The High Court of Madras dismissed the suit, stating that the defendant's liability to pay for shares did not arise as the shares were not validly allotted to him. The court found no resolution in the Minutes Book of the Board of Directors allotting shares to the defendant. The petition was dismissed with costs.
