1939 (4) TMI 19 - HC - Companies Law

The judgment concerns an application for payment of Rs. 534-5-0 to the applicant from Travancore National and Quilon Bank Ltd. The bank received the money for telegraphic transfer but suspended payment on the same day. The court ruled in favor of the applicant, stating the money was held by the bank as the applicant's property, and the claim was upheld. The applicant was awarded costs of Rs. 35 plus Rs. 5 for the Judges summons, and the Official Liquidators Rs. 35.
