The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Chennai granted waiver of pre-deposit and remanded the appeal to the Commissioner for hearing on merits after delay in depositing was condoned. The appeal was allowed by way of remand. (2000 (7) TMI 697 - CEGAT, Chennai)
