Committees of board. 53. 1 [ (1) The board may constitute an Executive Committee, and such other committees or sub-committees as may be specified in the bye-laws of the multi-State co-operative society: Provided that the board shall constitute (a) an Audit and Ethics Committee; (b) a Committee on prevention of sexual harassment at work place. ] (2) The Executive Committee or other committee or sub committee referred to in sub section (1) shall perform such functions as are assigned to it in accordance with the bye laws of the multi State co operative society. **************** NOTES:- 1. Substituted vide THE MULTI-STATE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2023 dated 03-08-2023 before it was read as, (1) The board may, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, constitute an Executive Committee and other committees or sub-committees as may be considered necessary: Provided that other committees or sub committees, other than the Executive Committee shall not exceed three.
