Excise Tariff Amendment of First Schedule 143. In the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986) (hereinafter referred to as the Central Excise Tariff Act), the First Schedule shall be amended (i) in the manner specified in the Seventh Schedule; (ii) in the manner specified in the Eighth Schedule, with effect from the 1st day of January, 2017.
