Amendment of section 89
152. In the 1994 Act, in section 89, in sub-section (1), for the words “fifty lakh rupees”, at both the places where they occur, the words “two hundred lakh rupees” shall be substituted.
Notes on Clauses:
Clause 152 of the Bill seeks to amend sub-section (1) of section 89 of the 1994 Act so as to increase the monetary limit of rupees fifty lakh to rupees two hundred lakh.
