Regulation 1 - Short title and Commencement - Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer or Issue of Any Foreign Security) Regulations, 2004

RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (FOREIGN EXHCANGE DEPARTMENT) CENTRAL OFFICE NOTIFICATION No. FEMA 20(R)/ 2017-RB Mumbai, the 7th November, 2017 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 6 and section 47 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act 1999, (42 of 1999) and in supersession of Notification No. FEMA19/ RB 2000 dated 3rd May 2000, as amended from time to time the Reserve Bank of India makes the following regulations relating to transfer or issue of any foreign security by a person resident in India, namely: Short title and Commencement :- 1. (i) These Regulations shall be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer or issue of any Foreign Security) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2005. (ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force from May 12, 2005.@ Note: @ It is clarified that no person will be adversely affected as a result of retrospective effect being given to such regulations.
