Rule 1 - Short title - Foreign Exchange (Authentication Of Documents) Rules, 2000

MINISTRY OF FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, dated 3rd May, 2000 G.S.R. 380(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 46 read with the Section 39 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to govern the procedure of authentication of documents, namely :- Short title. 1. (1) These rules may be called the Foreign Exchange (Authentication of Documents) Rules, 2000. (2) They shall come into force on 1st day of June, 2000.
