CHAPTER 3 FEDERAL COOPERATIVES Classification of federal cooperatives 12. (1) The federal cooperative societies may be classified with reference to the nature of their activities. Not more than one federal cooperative society shall be registered in similar and identical objects in same area of operation. (2) The federal co-operatives for the sake of promotion of their constituent members will make suitable provisions in their bye-laws to avoid competition with the member societies.
