MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE (Legislative Department) New Delhi, the 12th January, 2019/Pausha 22, 1940 (Saka) The following Act of Parliament received the assent of the President on the 12th January, 2019, and is hereby published for general information:- THE CONSTITUTION (ONE HUNDRED AND THIRD AMENDMENT) ACT, 2019 [12th January, 2019.] An Act further to amend the Constitution of India. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Constitution (One Hundred and Third Amendment) Act, 2019. (2) It shall come into force on such date 1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. ****************** NOTES:- 1 . Shall come into force w.e.f. 14th day of January, 2019 vide S.O. 292(E) dated 14-1-2019.
