Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - Insolvency and Bankruptcy (prepackaged insolvency resolution process) Rules, 2021

MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th April, 2021 G.S.R. 256(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clause (fd) of sub-section (2) of section 239 read with sub-section (2) of section 54C of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (31 of 2016) , as amended by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021 (3 of 2021), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Insolvency and Bankruptcy (prepackaged insolvency resolution process) Rules, 2021. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
