11. Allowances . (1) The Chairpersons and Members shall be entitled to draw allowances and benefits as are admissible to a Government of India officer holding Group A post carrying the same pay. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), with effect from the 1st January, 2021, the Chairperson or Members shall have option to avail of accommodation to be provided by the Central Government as per the rules for the time being in force or shall be eligible for reimbursement of house rent subject to a limit of - (a) one lakh fifty thousand rupees per month in case of Chairperson, except for the Presiding Officer of Debts Recovery Tribunal and Presiding Officer of the Industrial Tribunal; and (b) one lakh twenty-five thousand rupees per month in case of Members of Tribunals and Presiding Officers of Debts Recovery Tribunal and the Industrial Tribunal.
