Article 39 - Insertion of new Article 226-A - Constitution (42nd Amendment) Act, 1976

Insertion of new Article 226-A . 39. After Article 226 of the Constitution, the following article shall be inserted , namely: Constitutional validity of Central laws not to be considered in proceedings under Article 226. 226-A. Notwithstanding anything in Article 226, the High Court shall not consider the constitutional validity of any Central law in any proceedings under that article. . **************** NOTES:- 1.
