Amendment of Article 352 . 48. In Article 352 of the Constitution, ( a ) in clause (1), after the words make a declaration to that effect , the following shall be inserted , namely: in respect of the whole of India or of such part of the territory thereof as may be specified in the Proclamation ; ( b ) in clause (2), in sub-clause ( a ), after the word revoked , the words or varied shall be inserted ; ( c ) after clause (2), the following clause shall be inserted , namely: (2-A) Where a Proclamation issued under clause (1) is varied by a subsequent Proclamation, the provisions of clause (2) shall, so far as may be, apply in relation to such subsequent Proclamation as they apply in relation to a Proclamation issued under clause (1). . ******************* NOTES:- 1.
