Customs Tariff Amendment of First Schedule. 98. In the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) (hereinafter referred to as the Customs Tariff Act), the First Schedule shall, (a) be amended in the manner specified in the Second Schedule; (b) with effect from the 1st May, 2025, be amended in the manner specified in the Third Schedule. Declaration under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 2023 It is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that the provisions of sub-clause (a) of clause 98 of this Bill shall have immediate effect under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 2023 (50 of 2023.).
