MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE (Legislative Department) New Delhi, the nth December, 1987(Agrahayana 26, 1909 (Saka) The following Act of Parliament received the assent of the President on the 16th December, 1987, and is hereby published for general information: THE FINANCE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987 No. 46 of 1987 [16th December, 1987.] An Act to amend the Finance Act, 1987. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows: 1. Short title and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Finance (Amendment) Act, 1987. (2) Sub-clause (ii) of clause (b) of section 3 and clause (c) of section 4 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 19th day of September, 1987 and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force at once.
