38. Amendment of section 35EE. In section 35EE of the Wealth-tax Act, (i) the words , without reasonable cause or excuse, shall be omitted; (ii) the following proviso shall be inserted at the end, namely: - Provided that no person shall be punishable under this section if he proves that there was reasonable cause or excuse for the said failure. .
