Section 1 - Short title and commencement - Companies (Amendment) Act, 2015

The following Act of Parliament received the assent of the President on the 25th May, 2015, and is hereby published for general information:- THE COMPANIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2015 No. 21 of 2015 An Act to amend the Companies Act, 2013. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-Sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Short title and commencement 1. (1) This Act may be called the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2015 . (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act and any reference in any provision to the commencement of this Act shall be construed as a reference to the coming into force of that provision.
