Constitution of High Courts.- Every High Court shall consist of a Chief Justice and such other Judges as the President may from time to time deem it necessary to appoint. 1 [***] ****************** NOTES:- 1 . Omitted vide Article 11 of the Constitution (7th Amendment) Act, 1956 dated 19-10-1956 w.e.f. 01-11-1956, before it was read as, Provided that the Judges so appointed shall at no time exceed in number such maximum number as the President may, from time to time, by order fix in relation to that Court.
