Monthly statements to be furnished by the filed formations - Income Tax - 890/CBDTExtract INSTRUCTION NO. 890/CBDT Dated : October 21, 1975 The Board have conducted a review of the reports and returns called by ITA-I Sections of the Board from the field formations and have decided as under:- (1) The monthly statement prescribed under *Instruction No. 791 (F. No. 201/98/74-ITA-II), dated 15th November, 1974 regarding aggregation of agricultural income with non-agricultural incomes should henceforth be sent to the Directorate of Inspection (Research and Statistics), New Delhi instead of to the Board. The Director of Inspection (Research and Statistics) will compile the information at his end. (2) The monthly statement prescribed for Commissioners of Income-tax, Gujarat Charges only regarding disposal and pendency of rectification applications u/s 154/155 is hereby discontinued. The respective Commissioners of Gujarat Charges will watch the progress in this regard at their end. (3) The monthly statement regarding refunds prescribed in Board's Instruction No. 611 (F.No. 226/18/70-ITA-II) dated 7-9-73 and Instruction No. 739 (F.No. 212/352.73-ITA-II) dated 17-8-74 will continue to be sent by the Commissioners to the Director of Inspection, (R S). However. copy of the same will not be sent to the Board hereafter. (4) The monthly statement regarding disposal of complaints entered in the complaint register prescribed under Board's letter F.No. 226/32/70-ITA-II dated 17th September, 1970 is discontinued with immediate effect. (5) The monthly statement regarding companies in liquidation completion of assessments and collection of demand prescribed in Boards letter* F.No. 9/86/69-ITA-II dated 9th September, 1969 is discontinued with immediate effect. (6) The annual statement regarding avoidance of income-tax and wealth-tax through means of divorce prescribed under Board's Instruction No. 597 (F.No. 190/17/73-ITA-I) dated 24th August, 1973 is discontinued with immediate effect. 2. Necessary instructions may please be issued to all the Officers working in your charge.
