Subject:- Board s report - Companies (Particulars of Employees) Rules, 1975 Certain queries regarding terms remuneration and last employment held and other matters connected therewith clarified The reference to valuation of perquisite at 10 per cent as referred to in this Department s letter of even number dated 15 7 1977 was only to 10 per cent cost of furniture, fittings, air conditioner, etc., and not to residential accommodation. As regards buildings, purchased and let out by the company to its employees, it is clarified that the annual rateable value fixed for municipal taxes may be taken as rent simpliciter and 10 per cent of cost of furniture, air conditioner, etc., may be added to it if accommodation provided by the company is also furnished.
