KOLKATA 700069 TRADF NOTICE NO. 1 /2015 DATED 1 8.6.2015 Sub : Release of online application form for Merchandise Exports From India Scheme (MEIS) TO ALL IEC HOLDERS ALL EPCs ALL CHAMBERS OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY FEDERATION OF INDIAN EXPORT ORGANISATION The DGFT, Kolkata office is committed to improving ease to doing busineess and move towards paperless submission and processing of various applications under FTP (Foreign Trade Policy). Trade is informed that online application form has now been released and it is now possible to not only apply online for claiming rewards under MEIS but also to upload the required supporting documents using digital signatures of the applicant. As a result henceforth the applicant shall submit the supporting documents online, along with the application. Submission of physical copies of documents (other than proof of Landing and Shipping Bills in case of exports made from NON EDI ports) would no longer be required. This office has created two sections against MEIS for smooth functioning of the office which are as follows : 1) MEIS I (Alphabets from A to M) 2) MEIS II (Alphabets from N to Z ) The above Trade Notice is issued herewith for the benefit of trade.
