Public Notice No. 125/2006 Dated 25/08/2006 Attention of the Steamer Agents, Importers, Exporters and their representatives (Custom House Agents), is invited to this Custom House Public Notice No. 121/2000, dated 12-4-2000, declaring M/s. Sattva Hi-Tech and Conware Pvt. Ltd., Thiruvottiyur, Chennai as CUSTOMS AREA to handle import and Export Cargo and Public Notice no. 82/2005, dated 14-7-2005 declaring an additional area of 1.53 acres as Customs Area . In exercise of powers conferred under section 8 (b) of the Customs Act, 1962 , the said Public Notices are hereby modified and an additional area of 8.82 Acres of vacant land covered under survey no. 19/5A, 297, 296-(1-B,1-C,1-D,2A2,1-A,2A1,3A 3B) and bounded on North by Pattammal Land, Snuff Factory and RS. No. 296/1, on East by RS No. 296/3, on west by Madras-Ponneri High Road and South by Existing Sattva CFS is also declared as Customs Area for the purpose of handling Import FCL Containers in addition to the area already declared as Customs Area under the said Public Notices. The procedures for dealing in the FCL import cargo have to be followed as laid down in Public Notice No, 19/98, 111/2002 and 255/2002. The above declaration comes into effect from the date of issue of this Public Notice and shall remain in force until further orders.
