The Trade is hereby informed that the Assistant Commissioner, Tax Recovery Cell (TRC), GST Central Excise, Aurangabad has been empowered by the Commissioner, GST Central Excise, Aurangabad to initiate action under Section 142 of the Customs' Act, 1962 for recovery of Central Excise arrears and under Section 87 of the Finance Act 1994 for recovery of Service Tax arrears to speed up arrears recovery.
