Ltd. - Regarding Attention of the Steamer Agents, Importers, Exporters and their representatives (Custom House Brokers) is invited to this Custom House Public Notice No. 127/2006 dated 01.09.2006 declaring M/S Triway Container Freight Station Pvt. Ltd. situated at No. 148, Edayanchavadi, New Napalayam, P nneri High Road, Chennai - 600103 as CUSTOMS AREA under section 8(b) of Customs Act, 1962 and as CUSTODIAN vide Public Notice No. 126/2006 dated 01.09.2006 for handling of both import and export cargo and addendum vide 157/2012 dated 11.07.2012 and Public Notice No. 77/2013 dated 08.07.2013 declaring 50000 sq. Ft and 5 000 sq. Ft. respectively as customs area under section 8(b) of Customs Act, 1962 under Warehouse C for handling LCL export. Now at the request of M/S Triway Container Freight Station Pvt. Ltd. dated 13.11.2017, I, Dr. Anil Nigam, Commissioner of Customs, (Chennai-VIII), Custom House, Chennai, in exercise of powers conferred under section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962, de-notify 1600 Sq. Ft of Customs area in warehouse C situated in south eastern side of the said CFS CFS situated at No. 148, Edayanchavadi, New Napalayam, Ponneri High Road, Chennai - 600103 from handling of LCL export Cargo. Further, I, Dr. Anil K. Nigam, Commissioner of Customs, (Chennai-V II), Custom house, Chennai, in exercise of powers conferred under section 8((b) of Customs Act, 1962, notify the earmarked area of 1600 Sq. Ft of Customs area in warehouse C situated in south eastern side of the triway CFS situated at No. 148, Edayanchavadi, New Napalayam, Ponneri High Road, Chennai - 600103 for handling of specific purpose of international transshipment of LCL Shipments and all operations related thereof as prescribed under Board Circular No. 14/2007-Customs dated 16.03.2007 and as per the procedure laid down in Public Notice No. 78/2007 dated 06.06.2007 issued by the Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, Chennai.
