Attention of the Importer, Exporter, Nominated Agency and General Trade coming under the jurisdiction of ACC, Andheri (East) and all other stakeholders is invited to Board Circular No. 55/2016-Cus, dated 23rd November, 2016 Public Notice No. 47/2016 dated 29.11.2016 issued by this office. 2. Vide above Public Notice, it was decided to do away printing of the Exchange Control Copy and Export Promotion Copy of the shipping bill as it does not serve any useful purpose. 3. Representations have been received in this office regarding difficulty faced by trade industries in following Situation:- (i) In case where gold is purchased from nominated agencies/ Banks for the purpose of jewellry exports, they refuse to release margin money deposited with them without submission of Exchange Control Copy. (ii) Bank and Nominated agencies has refused to accept the Exporter copy as a proof of export, citing their earlier provision and mentioning that they in turn have to submit EP Copy for release of their bonds. 4. In this regard, the matter has been examined it is decided that the following procedure should be followed in respect of the proof of exports for Gems and Jewelry, consequent to doing away of Exchange Control Copy' and 'Export Promotion Copy' of shipping bill vide Board Circular No. 55/2016-Cus, dated 23rd November, 2016. The exporter has to furnish the proof of export, wherever required for export of Gold/Silver/Platinum and Articles thereof, by furnishing following documents: (i) Self-attested Photo Copy Exporters Copy' of Shipping Bill. (ii) Customs Attested Invoice. (iii) Bank Certificate/e-BRC of realization in Appendix 2U 5. Difficulties, if any, may be brought to the knowledge of the undersigned. 6.
