No. IV/16/01/2018- GST Dated: 18-07-2018 GST TRADE NOTICE NO. 31/2018 Sub: GST - 3rd Special Refund Fortnight from 16.07.2018 to 30.07.2018 -Press Release dated 16.07.2018 - Communication thereof - Reg. Considering the relief the two special refund fortnights observed in March 2018 and June 2018 provided to the trade, the CBIC has decided to observe the 3 rd Special Drive Refund Fortnight from 16.07.2018 to 31.07.2018 in order to liquidate the pendency further and to handhold/ guide the trade for applying for refund in a proper manner. Dedicated refund cells / helpdesks would be provided for exporters to get their refund claims processed in each Commissionerate. 2. As regards IGST refund, the facility to view reasons for pending IGST refunds have been provided on ICEGATE and the IGST refund procedure is designed for seamless electronic processing if sufficient and correct details are filed by exporters. Hence, the export organisations and export promotion councils must come forward to assist exporters in observing correct procedure to file refund claims and in rectification of errors and export organisations are requested to take benefit of this opportunity to get their pending refunds claims processed during this special drive. 3. This Trade Notice is being issued so as to sensitise the trade and field formations about the contents of the aforesaid references and for complete details, the respective references may please be referred in the CBIC s website www.cbic.gov.in. 4. All the Jurisdictional Assistant/ Deputy Commissioners are requested to bring the contents of the Trade Notice to the notice of all the officers working under their charge and the assessees falling under their respective jurisdiction. 5.
