Government of India Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue OFFICE OF THE CHIEF COMMISSIONER OF CENTRAL EXCISE SERVICE TAX, BENGALURU ZONE, P.B.NO. 5400, C.R.BUILDING, QUEEN'S ROAD, BENGALURU-560001 Date: 20.06.2017 Trade Notice No. 01/2017 Central Tax Sub: Appointment of officers in terms of Notification No.02/2017 Central Tax dated 19.06.2017 and their notified Territorial Jurisdiction The Trade Industry is informed that the Central Board of Excise and Customs vide Notification No. 01/2017 - Central Tax dated 19.06.2017, in exercise of powers conferred by sub - section (3) of section I of Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Central Government has hereby appointed the 22nd of June 2017, as the date on which the provisions of Sections 1,2,3,4,5,10,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,139,146 and 164 of the said Act shall come into force. 2. The Trade Industry is further informed that the Central Board of Excise and Customs vide Notification No.02/2017 Central Tax dated 19.06.2017, issued in exercise of powers conferred under Section 3 read with Section 5 of Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017) and Section 3 of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (13 of 2017) has appointed (a) Principal Chief Commissioners of Central Tax and Principal Directors General of Central Tax, (b) Chief Commissioners of Central Tax and Directors General of Central Tax, (c) Principal Commissioners of Central Tax and Principal Additional Directors General of Central Tax, (d) Commissioners of Central Tax and Additional Directors General of Central Tax, (e) Additional Commissioners of Central Tax and Additional Directors of Central Tax, (f) Joint Commissioners of Central Tax and Joint Directors of Central Tax, (g) Deputy Commissioners of Central Tax and Deputy Directors of Central Tax, (h) Assistant Commissioners of Central Tax and Assistant Directors of Central Tax, (i) Commissioners of Central Tax (Audit), (j) Commissioners of Central Tax (Appeals), (k) Additional Commissioners of Central Tax (Appeals) With effect from 22nd June 2017. 3. Consequent to appointment of officers in terms of Notification No.02/2017 Central Tax dated 19.06.2017 the following territorial jurisdictions in respect of subordinate offices falling in Bengaluru Zone are hereby notified as given below:- i. 0/0. the Principal Commissioner of Central Tax, Bengaluru East Commissionerate ii. 0/0. the Principal Commissioner of Central Tax, Bengaluru West Commissionerate, iii. 0/0. the Principal Commissioner of Central Tax, Mysuru Commissionerate, iv. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Bengaluru South Commissionerate, v. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Bengaluru North Commissionerate , vi. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Bengaluru North-West Commissionerate, vii. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Mangalore Commissionerate, viii. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Belgavi Commissionerate ix. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Audit-I, Bengaluru. x. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Audit-II, Bengaturu , xi. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Audit, Mysuru, xii. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Audit, Belgavi , xiii. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Appeals-I, Bengaluru , xiv. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Appeals-II, Bengaluru xv. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Appeals, Mysuru xvi. 0/0. the Commissioner of Central Tax, Appeals, Belgavi . 4. The jurisdiction of the Commissionerate / Division / Range in Bengaluru Zone are as appended in the Annexure. 5. All the Trade Associations and Chambers of Commerce and Industry are requested to bring the contents of this Trade Notice to the knowledge of their Constituent Members. 6.
