No. I(Gen)19-81/2016-17/Cus/T/ DATED: 08.01.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE No 25/2017-cus Subject: Validity period of H category passes and G category passes issued under Regulation 17 of CBLR 2013 reg. Attention of all Importers. Exporters, Customs House Agents, Members of the Trade and Industry is invited to provisions of Regulation 17 of CBLR 2013 on the above subject. 2 As per present practice, applications are made by the Custom broker for issue/renewal of H category and G category pass in prescribed proforma along with other prescribed Documents. the said H category passes and G category passes are issued /renewed with of one year. As a Trade facilitation measure , it has been decided that henceforth G category passes will be issued/renewed as valid upto the validly of Custom broker Licence from the date ole Issue Also it has been decided that henceforth H category passes will be issued/renewed as five years from the date of issue. The issuance of new passes or extension of existing passes would be subject to applicable guidelines in force at the relevant time 4. The said renewal/issue of H passes and G category passes will be issued/renewed subject to submission of prescribed documents as per the provisions of CBLR 2013 and verification report of said employees of Custom broker from concerned ports, 5. All the Trade associations Chambers of Commerce and members of Regional Advisory Committee, Public grievance Committee are requested to circulate and publicize the contents of this Public Notice amongst their member constituents.
