No. S/3-Misc-PRO-13/2018-19 ACC(I) Date: 15.02.2019 PUBLIC NOTICE No. 03/2019 Sub: Conduct of CBIC S Disaster Recovery (DR) Simulation Drill This is to bring to the notice of all concerned that CBIC S Disaster Recovery (DR) Simulation Drill is scheduled to be conducted from 1800 hours on 15.02.2019 to 1200 hours on 17.02.2019. Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai has been selected as one of the testing sites for the Disaster Recovery Simulation Drill. Due to this ICES 1.5 and ICEGATE application will not be available during the aforementioned period. In view of this, it is advised that: 1. Service Centre and RES filing would be stopped at 1800 hours on 15.02.2019 to 1000 hours on 16.02.2019. All ICES, RMS applications would be disabled by 1800 hours on 15.02.2019. In View of non-availability of ICES 1.5 application from at 1800 hours on 15.02.2019 to 1000 hours on 16.02.2019, all locations should clear maximum consignments by 1800 hours on 15.02.2019. 2. Procedure for manual clearance will be adopted with abundant caution for clearance of consignments of emergency or urgent nature. Proper records will be required for the manual clearance allowed during the drill i.e. from 1800 hours on 15.02.2019 to 1200 hours on 17.02.2019. The procedure adopted during production downtime of ICES 1.5 system will be followed for manual clearance. 3. All stakeholders i.e. Importers, Exporters, Custodians, CHAs, Banks etc. are directed to follow the ICEGATE Advisory on Disaster Recovery Drill. Advisory to the ICEGATE Community Partners Details of the activities are given below: 1. Details of the Disaster Recovery (DR) Drill activities: a) Documents filing through Service Centre and ICEGATE shall be stopped at 1800 hrs on 15.02.2019 to 1000 hours on 16.02.2019. b) Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai being selected as one of the testing sites for the Disaster Recovery Simulation Drill, documents filing at ICEGATE and Service Centre shall be available from 1000 hrs. to 1800 hrs. on 16.02.2019. c) E-payment and physical payment shall be available from 1000 hrs. to 1800 hrs. on 16.02.2019. d) Filing of documents through ICEGATE/Service Centre shall again be stopped at 1800 hrs on 16.02.2019 to facilitate switchback of services from The DR site to the primary site. e) Filing of documents through ICEGATE/Service Centre would be available from 1200 hrs on 17.02.2019. f) No drawback claims will be processed during the drill i.e. from 1800 hrs on 15.02.2019 to 1200 hours on 17.02.2019 2.
