InterGIobe Aviation Ltd, for the purpose Of transhipment of import cargo and export cargo meant for transhipment by air from/to Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to/from Seven (07) destination Custom stations M/S. InterGlobc Aviation Ltd, having office at Import Export Shed, Marol, Andheri, Pipeline Road, Andheri (East) Mumbai-400099 (hereinafter referred to as M/S. InterGIobe), vide letter dated 04.12.2019, have requested for renewal of carrier transshipment permission to M/S. InterGIobe. 2. M/S. InterGlobe were granted permission, vide this office Public Notice No. 46/2016 dated 10.01.2017, for the purpose of transhipment of import and export cargo meant for transhipment by air from/to Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to/from seven (07) destination Customs stations, viz. Jaipur, Kochi, New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Goa within India and appoint M/S. InterGlobe as Custodian (Customs Cargo Service Provider) for the purpose of transhipment of Import and Export cargo meant for transhipment by Air from/to Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to/from destination Custom stations within India. The said permission was valid till 09.12.2017. 3. Thereafter, periodic provisional permission to handle the domestic transshipment bonded cargo of, inter alia, M/S. InterGlobe, was accorded vide Letters of Permission to M/S. Mumbai International Airport Ltd. 4. M/S. InterGlobe have since executed an Export Bond of ₹ 10,00,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Crore only) and Import Bond of ₹ 7,00,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Crores only) for transhipment of Export cargo and Import cargo by air from/to Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to/from destination Customs stations reSpectiveIy, which is valid up to 10.12.2022. 5. M/S. InterGlobe have submitted Bank Guarantee No. LOBG210011600961 of ₹ 1,50,00,000/- ( Rupees Two Crores Fifty Five Lakhs only) which is valid till 09.12.2020 i.e. ₹ 1,50,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Fifty Lakh only) for export TP cargo and ₹ 1,50,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Five Lakh only) for import executed by IDFC FIRST Bank Limited, (Formerly IDFC Bank Limited), GF Plaza. One Horizon Centre, Sector 43, Golf Course Road, Gurgaon, Haryana - 122 002 on behalf of M/S. InterGIobe Aviation Ltd, which is valid till 09.12.2020. 6. M/S. InterGlobe have requested for grant of permission for the purpose of transhipment of Import and Export cargo meant for transhipment by air from/to Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to/from seven (07) destination Customs stations, viz. Jaipur, Kochi, New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Goa within India. 7. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in me under section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Vijay Singh Chauhan, Commissioner of Customs (General), Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai hereby grant permission to M/S. InterGIobe Aviation Ltd, for the purpose Of transhipment of import cargo and export cargo meant for transhipment by air from/to Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to/from Seven (07) destination Custom stations viz. Jaipur, Kochi, New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Goa within India and appoint M/S. InterGlobe Aviation Ltd, as Carrier (Customs Cargo Service Provider) for the purpose of transhipment of Import and Export cargo meant for transhipment by air from/to ACC, Mumbai to/from destination Custom stations within India. 8. Transhipment of import and export cargo being permitted as per this Public Notice shall be governed by: - (a) The provisions of Chapter VIII Of the Customs Act, 1962. (b) Goods Imported (Conditions of Transshipment) Regulations, 1995. (c) Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009, as amended. (d) CBIC Circular No. 69/99-Cus dated 06.10.1999, as amended by Circulars No. 61/2000-cus dated 13.07.2000, 79/2001-cus dated 07.12.2001 and 06/2007-cus dated 22.01.2007. (e) Public Notice No. 24/2000 dated 08.11.2000 read with Public Notice No. 12/2004 dated 27.03.2004, Public Notice No. 18/2005 dated 28.07.2005 and Public Notice No. 09/2007 dated 02.03.2007. (f) Any other Rules, Regulations, Notifications, Instructions, Circulars Public Notices issued from time to time. 9. This permission shall be valid till 09.12.2020, i.e. the earliest date of expiry of required bond/bank guarantee (Bank Guarantee No. LOBG210011600961 of ₹ 2,55,00,000/- (Rupees Two Crores Fifty Five Lakhs only) which is valid till 09.12.2020 i.e. ₹ 1,50,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Fifty Lakh only) for export TP cargo and ₹ 1,50,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Five Lakh only) for import executed by IDFC FIRST Bank Limited, (Formerly IDFC Bank Limited), GF Plaza.
