No. VIII(H)9/C/PN/11/2020/ Dated: 21.04.2020 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 16/2020 Sub: Special Refund and Drawback Disposal Drive- Implementation of decision to expedite pending refund drawback claims-reg. In the light of unprecedented situation caused by COVID-19, CBIC has taken a number of measures to mitigate the hardship caused by COVID-19 pandemic to the trade and Industry and other stake holders. All the Exporters/ Importers, Customs Brokers, other stake holders and members of trade are informed that in order to dispose off pending refund claims, drawback and for dispose of IGST refunds stuck up due to different errors, a special drive has been launched upto 30.4.2020 at Customs Coimmissionerate, Jodhpur. (refer CBIC Instruction No. 03/2020-Customs dated April,2020). 2. For speedy processing of all the pending refund claims while following all relevant legal provisions, notifications, circulars and instructions., in the cases where deficiency has been raised by the department, the applicants are advised to furnish requisite documents/ information to the concerned Assistant/Deputy Commissioner (Refund) of respective ICD/Air cargo. In case any difficulty is faced by exporter and their representative are advised to contact to Commissionerates refund cell and the contact details are as under:- S.No. Name of the Officer Designation E-mail ID phone No. 1. In case of IGST refunds, all the stake holders are advised to contact the Deputy/ Assistant Commissioner of their respective port and furnish requisite documents for rectification of different errors. 4. The cases in which IGST refund is withheld due to pending PFMS validation, the Deputy/ Assistant Commissioner may be contacted and requisite documents may be furnished for getting their bank accounts validated, 5. All the CHA/ Trade Associations/Representatives are advised to inform the exporters about the documents required for rectification of different errors and validation of PFMS accounts. 6. Difficulty if any, faced in implementation of this public Notice may be brought to the Notice of undersigned at e-mail: custech-ipr-riQgov.in. 7.
