Attention of the Trade Industry is invited to the Order issued by Chief Commissioner of Central Tax, Visakhapatnam Zone in consultation with Chief Commissioner of State Tax Andhra Pradesh, consequent upon decision taken by GST Council meeting. 2. Brief details of the Order issued: a. Order issued consequent upon decision taken by GST Council meeting. Sl. Consequent upon decision taken by GST Council in its 38th Meeting held on 18.12.2019 to constitute a Grievance Redressal Committee at the Zonal/State level, to address the grievances to Trade and Industry on GST matters, the Chief Commissioner Of Central Tax customs, Visakhapatnam Zone in consultation with the Chief Commissioner of State Tax, Andhra Pradesh had constituted the said Grievance Redressal committee by nominating heads of Trade Associations / Tax Professional Bodies and others., as stated in the cited Order NO. 01/2020 dated 31.01.2020. 4. The Committee which has a tenure of two years will take up (i) examination and resolving grievances and issues being faced by the taxpayers, including procedural difficulties and IT related issues pertaining to GST, both specific and general nature; (ii) referring any issue requiring a change in ACT/Rules/N0tification/Form/Circular/Instructions, etc. to the GST Council Secretariat and the relevant Policy Wing of the CBIC; (iii) referring any matter related to IT related issue pertaining to GST Portal, to GSTN. 5. The said order has been uploaded on the CGST Visakhapatnam Commissionerate's website (cenexgstvizagl.gov.in/tradecc.html) for ready reference. 6. The contents of this Trade Notice may be brought to the notice all members of the Trade Industry and all stakeholders. They may inform to their members, if any difficulty in the implementation of GST may forward their grievances through their Trade Associations / Tax Professional bodies or addressed / e-mailed directly to the committee.
